»August 2016: Chinese HNA buys participation in Brazilian airline Azul; HNA paid US$ 450 million (about R$ 1.6 billion) for 23.7% of Azul.
HNA controls Hainan Airlines, the largest private aircarrier in China. Azul is the 3rd largest company in the airline sector in Brazil, and their income of R$ 6,257 billion was the 87th largest in 2015.
